DORCAS DUDLEY married WILLIAM ROUNTREE. If the ancestral files collected by the Family History Library in Salt Lake City are correct, Dorcas was descended from Irish Kings, going back to King Lillial of Leinster, born about 435, and from English and French nobility. Some of the details in those files might give one pause, however. E.g., two Ambrose Dudleys, father and son, were supposedly married to Judith Scott (Ancestral Files #PFNJ-M5 and #97C4-W4); Grace Threlkeld married Thomas Dudley sixteen years before she was born (Ancestral File #97B6-DP).
