                 HOLD SERVICES FOR WELL KNOWN CITIZEN

   The funeral services of R. F. Maynor, local railroad man, who
died in Chicago suddenly last Sunday, were conducted yesterday
afternoon from the family residence on West Capitol Street. Pearl
Lodge F.& A.M. had charge of the fraternal funeral, and marched in
a body from the Masonic Hall to the residence shortly after 9 o'clock.
   Dr. H.F. Tolle, assisted by Dr. H.M. King, conducted the funeral
and interment was at Cederlawn.  Many friends gathered to pay their
last respects to this man who was universally known in his particular
line of endeavor and had many friends in every walk of life.
   The pall bearers were as follows:  H.A. Mercer, W.O. Rea, Wayne
Smith, O.P. Gober, C.E. Holmes and J.T. McMahon.  Honorary:  J.W. Marley,
O.H. Wingfield, T.B. Doxey, Dr. R.S. Neyland, L. Zeagler, O.A. Graham,
Capt. John A. Webb, S.P. McRae, John Stewart, E.E. Denson, Luther Rhymes,
and W.L. Barrow.
